Dr. Sonia BustamanteSuperintendent
Welcome to Escuela Bella Vista (EBV) in Maracaibo, Venezuela!
I am thrilled to be the new Superintendent of EBV for the 2023-2024 school year. EBV is a vibrant community that values our culture and language while embracing international education and fostering a genuine love for learning.
We aim to provide a creative and diverse learning environment that meets the needs of all students. We recognize and nurture their strengths and talents through extracurricular programs and clubs. We prioritize the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Our curriculum equips students with the essential attributes for success.
Inclusion is fundamental to EBV, and we strive to create an environment that welcomes students from all backgrounds and abilities. Our teachers are trained to meet diverse needs, fostering respect, empathy, and understanding.
We provide many opportunities to prepare our students for the globally known International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in their final two years of high school. These offerings aim to support their aspirations at local or international universities. Additionally, our comprehensive college counseling program assists students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a seamless college application process.
I am excited to collaborate with our students, parents, and community members to enhance further EBV's dynamic and thriving learning community.
Together, we will create a school where all students feel valued, respected, and challenged to reach their full potential.
