IBDP in EBV
The IB Diploma Program is an extensive two-year educational curriculum that combines the strengths of a liberal arts program with distinctive academic requirements, setting it apart from other advanced placement programs. It encompasses three key components:
Theory of Knowledge (ToK)
is an interdisciplinary course designed to foster critical reflection and analysis, promoting an appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives.
Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS)
mandates students to contribute their talents and energy to benefit others, particularly through engagement in community service activities.
The extended essay (EE) involves the creation of a 4,000-word research essay on a topic chosen based on the student's special interests.
In the pursuit of the full IB Diploma, students undertake each of their six IB subjects over the course of two years. Among these, three subjects are studied at a Higher Level (HL), while the remaining three are at a Standard Level (SL).
